Girls DI Alex Drake faces a big problem where she was taken hostage and shot. When she woke up, she found herself at a strange turn in a brothel in 1981 but was rescued in a police raid. She was accidentally identified by DCI Gene Hunt and his team through DCI Sam Tyler's detailed reporting on his own journey, which was a memorable trip in 1973.
