For all the missteps and misjudgments made by the Twin Peaks creative team in Season 2, it understood what it had in the soulful, eloquent Maj. Briggs (and in Don S. Davis, the actor who played him).May 19, 2017
There's an elegance and refinement to the episode that can be attributed to Gyllenhaal's direction, and the result is a smooth and polished, subtly-stylistic hour.May 18, 2017
The final shot of the town empty and silent as we finally see the entrance to the Black Lodge is a great capper to a pretty good episode that sets thing up for a spectacular finale.May 14, 2017
